Let's recap these 2 episodes of the second season of Bachelor Pad on ABC. I have to admit, if you watched last season, it is totally different. These people know what they are getting into and are working with what they know. Jake, Kasey, and Vienna are totally annoying the the drama is getting old to watch. Jake is fake but you have to feel for the guy to make an attempt to make nice with Vienna. There are two sides to every story but only those two know the real story because us viewers can't tell a lie from the truth. Oh and no one forced these people to be on the show, they signed up willingly. Chris Harrison was fantastic last night telling them "there is a door..there is a door..." Well played and funny!
Last night's egg toss was tough to watch. Melissa won for the girls and Micheal Stag won for the guys. Erica's tears were hard to watch after all the guys pegged her as the girl they were "least attracted to". That would be hard no matter who you were. She was on the end and I've seen on the web that the fact she was on the end could have had something to do with the aim since the game was win the most points. Also, the editing during the game was confusing and random. Why didn't they just put the whole thing in order? It was hard for us viewers to understand.
Enough about the Jake and Vienna show. Michelle Money and Graham Bunn are too cute and seem to be a very powerful pair. Michelle is not as crazy as she appeared on her season with Brad. Glad to see that she is doing well on this season.
Micheal wins and takes Michelle, Erica (a pity date) and Holly on a date to a haunted hospital. It was scary and a strange date. Michael and Holly: what a pair. After last night you have to feel for the guy and Holly playing the "best friend" card. I don't care who you are but that is never a line you want to hear, especially from someone you'd consider spending your life with. After a tearful date, they ended up back at the house where Holly and Blake flirted. Melissa took Kirk, Blake, and Kasey on her date. Melissa told Kasey she'd give him the rose if he'd keep her safe. That didn't last long after Blake decided he would take matters into his own hands.
I must discuss the Blake thing. He is playing the game. He looks like a jerk but hey this isn't about love, its about the money. It is crazy what people will do for money and Blake is playing the game. Anyways, what Blake didn't count on was the fact that Melissa is kinda crazy. As a viewer, she looks ridiculous but has a female, I can see how it would suck to get played like that. Blake and Holly are too cute together and if they could ditch the crazy train, there could be real potential (and I'm guessing it lasts since I've been reading they are still together). Holly was hilarious when she tried to break the ice after Melissa broke up their little session in the big bed. "I started flossing" - haha I couldn't have thought of anything better to say. Props to Holly!
Rose Ceremony time and Vienna is at it again. Of course here comes Chris Harrison and announces that only girls are going home this week and it all hits the fan. Right off the bat, Gia goes to Kasey where he blabs that he knows she wants him gone. Gia goes to Graham about spilling the beans and it explodes from there. Gia goes on and on about how she isn't cut out for this (you'd thought she learned that the first time) but she packs her bags and is out the door before any of the other contestants know what happened.
That leaves one girl on the chopping block. It seems that Ella and Jackie are up for going home. Ames scrambles to keep his new found love on the show. He goes to Kasey to make sure she stays. Ella goes to everyone saying she needs the money and then does the smartest thing a girl could do. She goes to Kirk and makes an alliance and therefore saving her for another week. Kirk is pleased with the alliance and sees that it benefits them both.
Jackie in the end is cut from the group. Ames (or Amesbot as referred to by most of the bachelor nation) follows her to the limo for some intense kissing and then as the limo drives away we see that blank stare that we saw from Ames after he got the life beat out of him during his season with Ashely. He runs after the limo, jumps in and off the two go. Everyone left seemed to be happy about the couple and loves the two together. I've heard conflicting things about the two dating. I've read they aren't together and fizzled out but twitter is a strong argument for so much. I'm not sure if they are together or not but either way, the whole thing made for great tv.
Can't wait to see how the next week plays out. It is getting interesting. Wish we saw more of William and Kirk and Michelle and Graham. We wanna see the funny and good stuff ABC. We love that kind of stuff, forget the drama and show us the goofy, fun side of these people.
